The accommodations are modern and clean, with a generous amount of storage space. My room featured effective air conditioning, ensuring a restful night, and the shower had ample hot water and solid water pressure, perfect after a long day. It's worth mentioning that there was no refrigerator in the room, which could be inconvenient for longer stays. While you get a coffee maker with capsules in the common area, I missed having a kettle for a good brew. What truly sets La Fonda apart is its quiet atmosphere despite the central location and its limited number of three rooms, providing an intimate experience. The owner's responsive communication further enhances the stay. For those thinking about budget versus comfort, La Fonda strikes a fair balance that makes it a sound choice as you explore-whether you're a pilgrim or a leisurely traveler. This boutique hotel holds great potential for those looking to enjoy a simple yet fulfilling experience while keeping an eye on costs.
